game stuff:
I imagine this game being an FPS adventure game kinda like doom. That's pretty much it LOL
stuff to set the story up yeah woohoo:
Your name is Lahar. You were a MAIL CARRIER, now turned BOUNTY-HUNTER, and of course, you don't like doing the job. About 2 years ago, your boss practically forced you to find this one "FUGITIVE", claiming that he's the key to "ENDING THE MADNESS" that's been going on. By MADNESS of course, she means the absolute clusterfuck the world has spiraled into in the last 2 years. When that ragtag team of rogue scientists spreaded chemical weapons and biological toxins, and built and deployed multiple bombs into major cities across the continent 2 years ago, she had concocted a plan and called specifically you for the job.
What makes you special for this job is that you are a MUTANT, specifically, a SANARER, you have the ability to steal other living beings' lifeforce and selfishly take it for yourself, and, the ability to give life to other living beings. It's assumed that you were exposed to high amounts of radiation when you were a kid, as that's what most people say when a human has weird abilities or something. The real story is that you died as an infant and had to be "revived" as they say. You never really got that whole resurrection thing to be honest, like, what, are you in a video game or something? But it related to your powers in a way, with the whole dying and being revived. You were always taught to never use these powers by your guardians, because 1: obviously you can't trust these powers to be used by a kid, and 2: the powers that be or whoever would literally kidnap you if you ever made your thingy known. Fortunately, the process of using your powers is very discreet. The reason why you use them is because your boss assigns you to go and look for The Fugitive in various places that are hella contaminated with highly dangerous and gross bullshit, that when you go through these locations, you are actively DYING and have to steal life from people and or whatever the fuck might be lurking in those nasty places. You have thought about running away from your boss, but she will always know when you are MIA.
Well, you've got a job to do. You grab your PISTOL, STAR MASK, and your CAR KEYS. The location your boss sent to you is this abandoned mall that hasn't been used in a decade or so, until just recently. It has become overgrown and is a hub for rogues and alike. Thankfully, the mall hasn't been polluted with a bunch of whatever the hell, which means you don't have to use your powers. But you have a feeling you still have to kill people.
1. blazing star:
I'm actually not sure what this is supposed to be for. I only made because I wanted to have a melody for Lahar (which is that tresillo melody or Whatever :P). Maybe a title screen?
2. !?!?!?:
Theme that plays in the abandoned mall.
3. take all ya oxygen:
Battle theme for the leader of the rogues in the abandoned mall. (da boss)
After Lahar defeats the leader, they exit the mall and see a shopkeeper. After spending their cash on the shopkeeper for whatever goods they usually sell in video games (lol??), Lahar asks him where he came from, he says he came from Root City, an underground city that's recently been a place for displaced people to live in. He asks Lahar where they're headed to, Lahar says their headed towards the nearest complex. He says be careful, theres groups of dangerous people there and also animals that he's never seen before. He also says Root City is past that, and says there should be a manhole somewhere in the street that leads to it.
4. blurry:
Theme for the apartment complex.
5. slash//open:
Battle theme at the apartment complex. ( :earnest: )
After exploring, Lahar proceeds to look for the manhole the shopkeeper told them about.
6. root city:
Theme for Root City.
Root City is a place where Lahar can stay at, buy new weapons, talk to people for the whereabouts of the fugitive, etc. etc. Lahar's next destination is the abandoned factory. After talking with a few people, Lahar discovers that the factory actually has no one in it. What a surprise. It's literally called an abandoned factory. Lahar still insists on going there, though.
7. you want crazy?:
Theme for the abandoned factory.
8. i'll give you insane:
Battle theme for the unnamed mutant that resides in the factory. Their power is to produce electricity from their hands and use it in various ways. One of those ways is to fuck your shit up real bad apparently.
After defeating the mutant, Lahar interrogates them before they leave. Throughout their brief exchange, Lahar discovers key details about the fugitive, like their name (Winter), where they are, their status as a fugitive being false, and how they are actually a mutant. Winter is currently at a refuge working as a caretaker, that is at a moderate distance away. Winter, like Lahar, is a SANARER, and uses their abilities to treat wounded people. Lahar plans on befriending and teaming up with Winter to take down their boss.
9. caretaker:
Theme for Lahar and Winter. Lahar begins to grow fond of them.
After successfully befriending and gaining Winter's trust, the two prepare to take on Lahar's boss.
10. right here, right now:
